I just read half of the book Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls. It is a sad book and it has many thrillers. The main character’s name is Billy and he is a very interesting person.
Billy is a very nice, generous, and persistent because he spent two years trying to get two coon hound dogs and when he got them he took care of them really well. I would like Billy as a friend because he is nice and I wouldn’t think him as a person that would argue with someone.
He is a very thoughtful toward others because his grandfather gave Billy a sack of candy once and Billy all the candy to his sisters except for four pieces. Billy regularly hunts with his dogs but one time one of his dogs fell in the river and Billy tried everything to save the dog and he succeeded.
